The second day exploring Rome has been an adventure, not that the first day wasn’t. The second day, well really the third day, if you count one day of being jet lagged. We were much more accustomed to our surroundings. We spent the day touring on one of the on and off busses. Usually, I am not a fan of being that touristy, I more enjoy diving in and blending in with the culture. During the summer in Rome is very hot and dry, but at night it cools down in the 60’s and 70’s. I wanted to see all the sights without dying of heat.
We didn’t stay on the bus for too long, we got off and walked around and ended up venturing into this park where we randomly rented a motorbike that seats five. We definitely were crowned the obnoxious Americans. We were having way too much fun taking it off roading and laughing so hard we had tears rolling down our faces. I will get more detailed about this adventure in my travel section.
I’m so glad I talked myself into getting and bringing this romper, I was on the fence because I have not worn one and it is definitely out of my comfort zone. I haven’t found one that has ever fit me properly. I have a very short torso, so rompers were always a trend I stayed away from. I found this cute romper at Loft. Which by the way, I don’t know if they have always had cute pieces or I just never paid attention. I paired a waist belt with the romper to break up the pattern of the blue and white stripes and give it more of a trendy polished look. This whole outfit is so versatile, it is comfortable enough to be on a bus and to be on a motorbike.
